Landstar honored the best and safest independent owner-operators earlier this month at the 2023 Landstar BCO All-Star Celebration.

Landstar's BCO Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Landstar Three Million Mile Safe Driver and Landstar Roadstar® Lenwood Ashton earlier this month at the 2022 Landstar BCO All-Star Celebration.

Landstar honored the best and safest Landstar independent owner-operators earlier this month at the 2022 Landstar BCO All-Star Celebration.

As one of the highest honors for Landstar business capacity owners (BCOs), the Roadstar® award is reserved for the independent owner-operators considered to be exceptional at customer service and, productive and profitable in all aspects of operating his or her business. We asked members of the Roadstar Class of 2019 to share their strategies for dealing with shifts in business and the economy.

This year Landstar is celebrating 143 business capacity owners (BCOs) for their safety records and professionalism behind the wheel.

“Humble” is the best word to describe the 2019 recipient of the Landstar BCO Lifetime Achievement Award Art Trezise - a three million mile safe driver and Roadstar® honoree.

Four Landstar independent business capacity owners (BCOs) and a Landstar employee were recognized during the National Safety Council Congress & Expo.

Landstar President and CEO Jim Gattoni called Art Trezise’s safety record “flawless.” Since leasing to Landstar in 1979, Trezise has driven more than 3.5 million miles at Landstar without incident.

The annual event recognizes outstanding safety records and professionalism behind the wheel. The Class of 2018 is one of the largest classes of Million Mile Safe Drivers inducted in Landstar history.
