Landstar independent BCOs saved millions of dollars with LCAPP in 2020!

The Landstar Star of Quality Award is intended for members of the Landstar network who go above and beyond in representing the freight transportation industry.

Landstar BCO Steve Wheeler, who was at the end of the alphabet, watched with anticipation as the first three finalists selected their boxes when prompted during the virtual event.

The outstanding efforts made by these professional men and women during November and December 2020, earned them a Landstar Star of Quality Award.

Landstar BCOs David Johnson and Lloyd Tubbs snapped photos of their trucks upon arrival at the Alaskan border. The BCOs had just finished a 10-day and 4,400 mile transport from the southeast corner of the “lower 48” to Fairbanks, Alaska.

Landstar Million Mile Safe Driver and Roadstar® Bobby Jordan has placed a very special decal on the driver side door of his new Landstar blue Freightliner® Cascadia® 126 – a small, but conspicuous, housefly.

As one of the highest honors for Landstar business capacity owners (BCOs), the Roadstar® award is reserved for the independent Owner-Operators considered to be exceptional at customer service and, productive and profitable in all aspects of operating his or her business. We asked members of the Roadstar Class of 2019 to share their strategies for dealing with shifts in business and the economy.

Entrepreneurs around the world have been faced with a challenging business environment during the coronavirus pandemic. Despite the challenges, many Landstar independent agencies and Owner-Operators saw 2020 as an opportunity to adjust their businesses for continued success.
