Landstar million mile safe driver David Zelsdorf says something magical happened at the 2018 BCO All-Star Celebration in Savannah, Georgia.

The annual Deliver to Win Truck Giveaway sponsored by Pilot/Flying J will happen Thursday, Jan. 24, during Landstar’s BCO Appreciation Days event in Jacksonville, Florida.

As Landstar’s highest honor for business capacity owners (BCOs), the company’s term for independent Owner-Operators with exclusive lease agreements, Roadstar award winners are considered the most elite professional drivers.

The outstanding efforts by these professional men and women throughout October and November earned them a Star of Quality Award.

As the first generation of independent Landstar entrepreneurs tells it, what hasn’t wavered is Landstar’s commitment to its independent business owners.

In their 30s, this group of millennial business owners are eager for the future, to grow their businesses and the freedom to succeed with Landstar.

“Instead of spending more money to repair or modify my old truck, I realized if I bought a brand-new truck with better fuel economy, I would actually save money,” says Van Dyke.
