Landstar Express America has placed first in the Truckload Category – Under 5 Million Miles of the Florida Trucking Association’s (FTA) 2022 Fleet Safety Awards.

The Landstar Express America® business provides instant access to safe and reliable expedited transportation solutions for customers whenever they need them.

The annual FTA Fleet Safety Awards honor the trucking association’s member companies based on the performance and safety of an entire fleet. For Landstar Express America, the fleet is comprised of independent owner-operators. Winners are selected based on a fleet’s reported DOT recordable accidents for the past two years, crash frequency, and the overall number of Florida miles driven. FTA says receiving such an award requires a singular goal and commitment to safety that is evident throughout a company.

The Florida Trucking Association promotes the trucking industry in Florida and acts as a state liaison between the trucking industry and the legislative, regulatory and judicial branches of state and federal government. FTA is one of 50 state trucking associations that are part of American Trucking Associations.
