The votes are in! Landstar Transportation Logistics is named among the “Top 20 Fleets to Drive For” by the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) and CarriersEdge.

“This year we saw more than 200 fleets nominated by their drivers for this program, and all participants were clearly stepping up their game,” said CarriersEdge Chief Executive Officer Jane Jazrawy in a press release.

To be considered, U.S. and Canadian operating companies with at least 10 or more trucks must be nominated by a company driver or an owner-operator, and then complete an evaluation process of interviews and driver surveys covering topics such as professional development opportunities, career path/advancement opportunities, annual turnover rate and the fleet safety record.

TCA and CarriersEdge conduct interviews with each nominee’s representatives and executives about their company’s direction, policies and programs. Those comments are compared to the driver’s surveys and incorporated into a fleet’s final score.

“We are humbled that our independent owner-operators nominated us for this honor. In 2021, we grew to more than 11,000 owner-operators leased to Landstar. And, we are proud that they feel they have the freedom, opportunity and support services needed with Landstar to successfully run their own businesses,” said Landstar Executive Vice President of Capacity Development Rocco Davanzo.

Two overall winners, in large and small fleet categories, will be named during TCA’s Annual Convention — Truckload 2022: Las Vegas — set for March 19-22.
