Landstar Transportation Logistics, Inc. is honored with multiple Transportation Safety Awards presented by The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) at the association's annual conference in Phoenix, Arizona, on April 25.

Landstar announced the winners of two annual safety awards at its 2025 Agent Convention in April. The awards were the Landstar Safety Officer (LSO) of the Year and the Mutual Understanding of Safety Together (M.U.S.T.) Customer of the Year.

More than 120 Landstar owner-operators and invited guests attended the second annual safety meeting in Flint, Michigan, jointly hosted by half a dozen independent Landstar freight agencies and Landstar’s safety department.

The National Safety Council (NSC) recognized Landstar Transportation Logistics, Inc. for “Remarkable Results” in the organization’s awards for Excellence in Driver Safety Training for “leading in their field in building safer drivers.”

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, transportation and safety merged in Jacksonville yesterday when Landstar picked up an oversized data center from Duos Technologies headquarters which will be used to detect potential safety issues on Amtrak high-speed passenger trains.

The American Trucking Associations’ (ATA) Safety Management Council has recognized Landstar operating companies with fleet safety awards for 2023.
