BCO Stacie Simmons won a bright blue 2025 Kenworth T-680 last week at the 2024 Landstar BCO Appreciation Days event in Durant, Oklahoma. 

The annual BCO Appreciation Days event is two days of networking opportunities, educational presentations, safety meetings, prizes and a vendor expo, where BCOs can talk to companies that offer different services as part of LCAPP – Landstar Contractors’ Advantage Purchasing Program.

Landstar business capacity owner (BCO) Rebecca Heck is on her way to compete in a national truck driving competition after an impressive victory in the Illinois Truck Driving Championship. In June, she took first place in the 5-axle division.

For many of Landstar’s independent owner-operators, trucking is more than a career; it’s a lifestyle. For some, competing in truck beauty shows or truck driving competitions becomes a part of that lifestyle as an outlet for their industry-related passion.

Agents participating in Landstar’s Grow Your Star program are reporting they’re more prepared and more motivated to find ways to improve their independent businesses. The program helps agencies reach new goals by providing information, support and mentors to agents through small group, three-day sessions.
