When Hill arrived at Landstar headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, he couldn’t wait to drive his new truck – and the galaxy silver 2017 Peterbilt 579 sat in the back lot waiting for its new owner.

As we prepare to announce the 2016 Landstar Safety Officer (LSO) of the Year at this year’s annual Landstar Agent Convention, we take a moment to profile last year’s LSO of the Year, selected from the 12 LSO of the Month winners for 2015.

Landstar BCO Ralph Hall is driving a brand new Peterbilt 579 after winning the semi-truck in a random drawing held Jan. 26 in Jacksonville, Fla.

The contest will run from January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016, and all entries must be received by January 15, 2017.

One lucky Landstar business capacity owner (BCO) will drive home from the 2017 Landstar BCO Appreciation Days in Jacksonville, Florida in a brand new 2017 Peterbilt 579.
