Good deeds paid off for Walter Jackson, a Landstar business capacity owner (BCO) who was named a Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) 2025 Professional Driver of the Year.

The annual BCO Appreciation Days event is two days of networking opportunities, educational presentations, safety meetings, prizes and a vendor expo, where BCOs can talk to companies that offer different services as part of LCAPP – Landstar Contractors’ Advantage Purchasing Program.

This week is National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, when professional truckers are recognized for hauling everything from the food on our tables to the clothes on our backs, and much more.
